How can I book my course?

To book your stay at Spain Language schools you should send us your enrolment form and a proof of payment. You can also fill out our enrolment form online and pay by credit card.

Can I use my credit card to pay my course?

Yes. You can book your course online and pay by credit card in our secure booking page. Or, you can send us a written authorization allowing Spain Language to charge your credit card.

What levels of Spanish does Spain Language offer?

We work with the four traditional levels from Instituto Cervantes in combination with the six levels of the European Common Reference Framework for Language (Council of Europe): Beginner (A1 + A2), Intermediate (B1), Advanced (B2) and Superior (C1 + C2). Each of these levels can be divided into sublevels.

Can I change cities after my arrival?

Of course you can change the city after your arrival; you must contact us to do this one week before the change.

What kind of Certificate will I get from Spain Language?

After completing the course you will receive a certificate for the whole course, if you have attended at least 85% of your classes. This will record: the course you have taken, duration, objectives and level of Spanish, special subjects, additional courses and number of hours. If attendance was less than 85%, the certificate will only record the actual number of hours attended. For students from the United States, we give the assessment results according to the American grading system.

Can I take private lessons at Spain Language schools?

Of course! In addition to group courses the Spanish schools offer one-to-one classes. This program is offered in all Spain Language schools on all levels. You can also request information on non-specific language content, such as literature, business, or any other subject.

When should I pay for my course?

To book your course we require a minimum down payment of 200 euro of the total cost. The total cost of your stay should be paid at least one week before your arrival.
It is highly recommended that you book your course at least one month before your arrival. In this way you avoid paying urgency fees for late booking and you will have enough time to receive all the information needed for your arrival.

How can I receive letters/faxes during my stay at the Spanish school?

You can receive letters/faxes at the school’s address/fax number. Just make sure the sender writes your name both on the letter/fax clearly.

Do I need medical insurance?

We advise all EU citizens to bring their E111 document.
We recommend students from other countries to have medical insurance.

What is the average age of Spain Language students?

We have students of all ages; the average age is between 20 and 29 years.

When can I start a course?

Courses for absolute beginners start every first Monday of the new month. All other courses start every Monday the whole year through.

Will I be able to transfer academic credits from Spain Language to my own university/school?

Yes! You can obtain university credits while doing your course at Spain Language.
We have agreements with some universities in the U.S., and, we are happy to supply any information that may be required.

Are class materials provided by the school?

Some our Spanish Schools provide all study material at no extra cost. Some of our recommended partner schools, however, do charge small fees for the course materials.
In all Spain Language schools we have our own teaching materials. This has resulted from years experience. We have developed and produced some of our own text books, which complements the support material that is constantly reviewed and updated (press articles, advertisements, audiovisual material, etc).

How much Spanish am I going to learn from taking a Spanish course?

It varies from person to person, but if you take full advantage of the country and immerse yourself as much as possible you will be able to speak Spanish much better than when you started.
